Chateau Vino is still standing as the Gold Coast’s one and only bricks-and-mortar swingers club… and it’s a beauty. Tucked away in an industrial nook of Molendinar, this place has been running since 2011 and was the first club to get official council approval in the region.
It’s a distinctly more “house party meets nightclub” vibe than you’d find elsewhere (some venues can resemble local brothels!). It’s also BYO alcohol (yep, Queensland law means they can’t sell you drinks, so pack an esky of your favorite booze) and they provide mixers and a staffed bar to keep your BYO bevvies flowing.
There’s a legit dance floor with a resident DJ spinning sexy hits every Saturday, plus a stripper pole for when someone’s feeling especially limber… or looking to lap up the attention from a packed house.
There’s no shortage of extracurricular fun taking place inside the famous venue. You’ll find 11 playrooms (9 per the official count, but hey, it feels like plenty) including the only dedicated BDSM dungeon in Queensland. The club is spotless: free condoms, lube, and towels are on hand along with showers for freshening up.
The club is open on Fridays and Saturdays.
Friday nights host the weekly Singles Mingle event – a chance for single guys to attend (entry $160, and subject to capacity). Saturday nights are reserved for couples ($100) and single women only ($50 non-member, free for members). The exception is their Voracious Vixens night, a special event where the ladies are in charge.
On a typical weekend you’ll see couples from their mid-20s to mid-60s, with most in the 30s-40s range. No need to be a fitness model – “sexy is a state of mind,” as the club likes to say.
And it’s proven a successful formula.
Chateau recently won the Best Adult Party in Australia Award for three consecutive years. It has a reputation that extends beyond QLD, as one of the very best swinger destinations in all of Australia.

Inner Circle

Inner Circle is not a club that you can rock up to on Friday or Saturday night. It’s more of a private society, the GC spin-off of a brand that has done well all over the country.
The premise is pretty simple.
This is an invite-only swinger parties for couples who want discretion and a touch of luxury. Events are hosted in private mansions, rented function spaces, or secret penthouses around the Coast. Dress codes are generally pretty strict – lingerie nights, masquerades, cocktail attire – and you’ll be expected to scrub up good to make an impression. The scene here is generally a bit younger than over at Chateau Vino.
The society has close ties with the Red Hot Pie site (which we’ll cover below). Most of their events are sponsored by RHP, and while they are free to attend, the guest list is by invitation only for upgraded RHP members.
In other words… you’ll need to register a premium account on Red Hot Pie if you want to join the GC Inner Circle.
A typical Inner Circle event starts at a local bar, somewhere trendy, where couples can mingle over a few drinks and scope out the vibe. There is nearly always an after-party, but this bit is purely optional – so there’s less pressure than you might feel at an event held inside an actual swingers club.
They used to hold a lot of their sex parties over at Club Whispers on Upton Street. Sadly that venue no longer appears to be available.

This is the international option, and while it doesn’t have the sway of backing local sex parties, it does have a massive international database that covers all of Australia.
It’s particularly handy if you’re keen to meet tourists visiting the Coast or if you want to advertise your own party to an international audience.
Couples fly in from Sydney and Melbourne for cheeky long weekends. Kiwis and Americans ride the theme parks by day and the lifestyle by night. Many of them use SDC to scout ahead. If your profile is visible and up to date, you can catch those “we land Friday, who is around” messages before they hit the ground.
