Brisbane Swingers Guide: A List of QLD Clubs and Adult Parties

Published on:

Queensland swinger clubs face a difficult set of laws, needing to be situated within specific zoning areas such as the commercial parts of a town or city.

They are not allowed to charge an entry fee and cannot serve alcohol or wrapped food. Sex must not take place in public areas and they must be open for frequent council inspections. With so many rules and regulations, you’d think there would be very few clubs for swingers in Brisbane — but you’d be wrong.

Brissy has some excellent options for couples living ‘the lifestyle’, as well as curious singles who want a piece of the action. Our Brisbane Swinging Guide takes you behind the scenes of the top clubs, events and sex parties around town.

Are There Any Good Swinging Clubs In Brisbane?

Brisbane’s swinging scene isn’t as “out-there” as in some other cities, but it’s there, and if you’re respectful and play by the rules, you can get in on the action.

The clubs are discreet, classy, and exclusive. It’s all about being part of the inner circle. You can’t just roll up without knowing the vibe, but once you’re in, you’ll find a scene that’s a little more laid-back but still with plenty of action if you know where to look.

Some of the clubs below are much more welcoming to first-timers than others. Let’s start with arguably the best place to dip your toes in the waters…

Taboo22

5/6 Cairns Street, Loganholme Queensland 4129

https://taboo22.net

Taboo 22 Kinky Room

Located about a 25-minute drive from the centre of Brisbane, Taboo 22 is one of the newest swingers club in Queensland. It’s a private residence with hosts, Phil and Lindy, offering up some interesting play rooms. As well as a lounge area, manned BYOB bar, 6-person spa and dance floor, there are more than 8 bedrooms to explore, including a BDSM room.

Lube, condoms and finger food are provided (not together!). Their website lists a raft of upcoming events with various themes throughout the month, a particular favourite being the BDSM Specials.

One of the nice things about this venue is the colour-coded ribbon system. Members can instantly tell what new members are looking for based on the colour of the ribbon.

Entry typically starts at $70 for couples, $30 for single ladies or $80 for single guys. If you’re a single bloke, you are encouraged to book well in advance as the venue only accepts a small number for each party.

Taboo22 is a friendly club that is attracting a lot of curious swingers, on top of a good base of locals who attend regularly.

4Bidden Parties

https://www.4bidden.com.au

4Bidden Parties Brisbane

An exclusive club that organises private events in the Brisbane area, 4Bidden Parties offers a high-class and young experience of swinging in Queensland.

Parties are for members only and all guests must be:

  • Aged 18-40 (exceptions made for some older guests)
  • Physically attractive, sexy and outgoing.
  • Fit and healthy.
  • Have an interest in, and be passionate about, the lifestyle.

The group is mainly aimed at couples but select single guys are included in some events; this is by prior arrangement only.

The vetting process is quite strict as the group want to maintain high standards over the exclusivity of their parties. If you think you fit the bill then you will need to have an online profile with Red Hot Pie, complete with recent pictures. You can register an interest in upcoming parties and the team will view your profile before offering you an invitation.

Events are held in various locations across the Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast area and can be in private residences or hotels but are always sophisticated and highly exclusive. If you manage to get on to the guest list, you know that you will be in for a premium night.

Diversionz

6 Allgas Street, Slacks Creek, QLD 4127

Diversionz Interior

Mixed reports on whether this club is still operational. Please leave a comment if you have visited recently.

Located about 15-minutes from the Brisbane CBD, Diversionz is a council-approved swingers club that hosts nights for couples and mixed singles. It’s a bit of a dingy location, quite dark inside… not the most welcoming ambience, but the attendees are usually pretty friendly.

The club has six play rooms, five of which can be made private with  the 6th being more of a public affair. There is also an outside space which features a queen-size double play platform and spa, as well as a separate area for smokers.

It is a popular club that attracts a nicely mixed crowd of regulars plus new faces and. On a good night (like the regular Big Bang events), there can be as many as 100 people in the club. Quieter nights, though rare, will see about 40 people.

Hellfire Club

130 Leichardt Street, Spring Hill, QLD 4000

http://www.hellfireclub.com.au

HellFire Club

The Hellfire Club is not an exclusive swingers venue, but it’s one of the most famous fetish clubs, right in the heart of the CBD. The club meets monthly and have been doing so for more than 25 years to celebrate playful subversion with as many hedonists as Brisbane can knock up.

The crowd is a lively mix of fetishists, perverts, drag queens, TV/TS and sexual deviants which is all good for anyone in the lifestyle who fancies something a little more alternative. They do have a resident BDSM circle along with a small but fully equipped dungeon for some light play.

Swingers can certainly come along and enjoy the opportunity for some networking (try the Masquerade Party) but there is no nudity or touching here; the pleasure is all in the atmosphere created and the watching.

Hellfire is not the main course, but an excellent ‘appetiser’ for any meets being held on the same night. And it’s certainly a great taster for those lifestyle members who like their play to be a little less vanilla.

Mike’s Place

Unit 12/6 Maunder St, Slacks Creek QLD 4127

https://mikesplace.net.au

Covering an internal space of almost 400 sq. m, Mike’s Place is a licensed swingers club and has room for 180 people at their venue in Slacks Creek. An average night usually attracts between 50 and 90 people.

Mikes Place (a famous old swinger club)

It’s one of the stalwarts of the Brisbane swingers’ scene and has a loyal following of partygoers and the odd new faces. The crowd are fairly mixed in age, shape and size but tends to have more people in their 30s and 40s.

Their website states a preference for guests between the ages of 18-45, but there are clearly older guests in attendance at most events.

The venue itself is clean and well equipped but is looking a bit dated of late. It’s certainly held its share of wild orgies and sex parties over the years.

There is a lounge, bar and spa as well as an outdoor area and private play rooms. There is often live entertainment as well as big screen movies being played throughout the venue plus showers, buffet food and complementary tea and coffee.

Friday nights are open to couples, single ladies and single guys (advance booking required). Saturday nights are for couples and single ladies only.

Check their calendar for upcoming events, including the weekly TFIF (Thank F*&K It’s Friday).

Kinkii Klosett

221 Brunswick St, Fortitude Valley QLD 4006

https://kinkiiklosett.com.au

Kinkii Kloset

Kinkii Kloset is not a traditional swingers club. It’s actually a hybrid boutique fetish-wear store, but one that comes equipped with a popular porn cinema lounge. This little den is known for hosting some debaucherous parties with regular wife-swapping.

The venue has 8 private rooms, each with two-way privacy sliders (covering gloryholes). The main lounge area has a leather sex sling, a stripper’s pole, a stage area and plenty of cosy seating.

One of the private rooms is setup with four live-streaming CCTV cameras, so you (or your guests) can watch on the main cinema screen as guests get down and dirty next-door.

Regular visitors are encouraged to become VIP Lounge Access Members. This gives access to a tight-knit online community of Brisbane swingers who use the premises regularly, as well as regular discounts and viewing deals. Typical entry is $20 for couples, $10 for single ladies, or $25 for single men. Event nights (Friday/Saturday) are $5 extra.

This unique venue draws in plenty of kinks from around Fortitude Valley.

Encounterz

86 Brisbane St, Ipswich QLD 4305

https://encounterz.com.au

Encounters Ipswich

This adult lifestyle club is located east of Brisbane over in Ipswich. Based in a heritage building, it may look fairly innocuous from the outside… but step through the door and you’ll find a stylish club with clean, modern facilities and a nice, social vibe.

Events are held weekly on Fridays and Saturdays. The website has a calendar of upcoming parties, including themes like ’50 Shades of Black’ and ‘Friday Wax & Electro’. It’s clearly a tight-knit community as many of the events are dedicated to individual members (celebrating birthdays).

Typical entry costs $85 for couples, $40 for single females, or $90 for single males. A discount is available for annual members. Every 5th visit is half-price with their loyalty scheme.

And A Short Drive Away…

There are a couple of other clubs in the surrounding area of Queensland, with the legendary Chateau Vino Swingers Club about an hour north in Molendinar.

Voted ‘Best Adult Party‘ at the Aussie Adult Industry Awards (for three years running!), Chateau is the most famous swinging hot-spot in all of Queensland.

It’s not just an orgy free-for-all, either. You’ve got themed events, elegant masquerade balls, and wine tasting nights that set the mood before the real action kicks off.

Popular Brisbane Swinger Sites

Of course, not all swinging has to be a group event. The practice of simple partner-swapping is alive and well in Brisbane. For those couples who prefer a more traditional approach to the lifestyle, the Internet has made it much easier to find potential play dates.

These are the most popular websites for swingers, and all have an excellent coverage in Brissy:

Red Hot Pie

https://redhotpie.com.au

Red Hot Pie

Red Hot Pie is popular with swingers in Brisbane and has become essentially the go-to platform for anyone in the lifestyle looking to connect, whether you’re a newbie or a seasoned pro.

It’s a site we recommend to swingers in pretty much every major Aussie city, but the user base is particularly active in Brisbane. There are dozens of small groups who use this app exclusively to run their events (including everything from wine tastings and partner-swapping, to wild gangbangs and outdoor orgies…)

Major gatherings, like those held by 4Bidden Parties, are all run via RHP.

Adult MatchMaker

https://www.adultmatchmaker.com.au

Adult Matchmaker

Another big favourite in the swinging community, Adult MatchMaker is not exclusively focused on swingers, but it certainly draws a large percentage of its Queensland users from this crowd.

The site’s focus on privacy and safety is a major draw for swingers who want to explore without worrying about their anonymity. Beyond just being a hookup site, Adult Matchmaker offers forums, blogs, and event listings, making it easy to stay in the loop with the local swinging scene.

We marginally prefer RHP over AMM for swinging events, but it’s close. They’re both excellent choices.

Adult FriendFinder

https://adultfriendfinder.com

Adult Friend Finder

AFF’s extensive user base means you’re not limited to just Brisbane or even Australia—you can connect with swingers across the globe, which is perfect if you’re into exploring internationally or mixing things up with visitors passing through the city.

Adult FriendFinder’s primary audience is the United States, and it’s generally not used for local events in the same way as RHP or AMM. The best way to use this site is for specific one-to-one connections. Or two-to-two connections if you catch our drift. 😉

SDC

https://sdc.com

SDC Australia

Just like Adult FriendFinder, SDC is a global platform where most members come from North America and Europe. Unlike AFF, this site is specifically designed for swingers and open-minded couples, so 99% of the members you chat with will share an interest in The Lifestyle.

(It’s not just randoms looking for casual sex.)

While SDC is international, there’s still a decent number of couples listed in the Brisbane suburbs. And many more further afield in Queensland. We recommend this site to any couples who travel overseas often and want to make use of a fully-integrated global swinging community.
