The Brisbane Swingers Guide

Interested in swinging in the Brisbane area?

Swingers clubs in Queensland face a difficult set of laws and must be situated within specific zoning areas such as the commercial parts of a town or city. They are not allowed to charge an entry fee and cannot serve alcohol or wrapped food. Sex must not take place in public areas and they must be open for frequent council inspections. With so many rules and regulations you’d think that there would be very few swingers’ clubs in Brisbane. Well, you’d be wrong, there are a ton of options for couples living the lifestyle as well as curious singles who want a piece of  the action.

In this guide, we take a look at the clubs and venues in Brisbane that are popular with swingers as well as the local community and internet sites for arranging your own private meets.

Brisbane Swingers Clubs and Groups

The following groups and clubs ether host on-premises parties for swingers, hold meets to which swingers are welcome or arrange private parties in and around Brisbane for lifestyle members.

4bidden Parties

www.4bidden.com.au

An exclusive club that organises private events in the Brisbane area, 4Bidden Parties offers a high-class and young experience of swinging in Queensland.

Parties are for members only and all guests must be:

  • Aged 18-40.
  • Physically attractive, sexy and outgoing.
  • Fit and healthy.
  • Have an interest in, and be passionate about, the lifestyle.

The group is mainly aimed at couples but select single guys are included in some events; this is by prior arrangement only.

The vetting process is quite strict as the group want to maintain high standards over the exclusivity of their parties. If you think you fit the bill then you will need to have an online profile with Red Hot Pie complete with recent pictures. From this popular swingers website you can register an interest in a party and the team will view your profile before offering you an invitation.

Events are held in various locations across the Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast area and can be in private residences or hotels but are always sophisticated and highly exclusive. If you manage to get on to the guest list, you know that you will be in for a premium night.

Diversionz

6 Allgas Street, Slacks Creek, QLD 4127

http://diversionz.com.au/

Located about 15-minutes from the Brisbane CBD, Diversionz is a council approved swingers club that hosts nights for couples and mixed singles.

The club has six play rooms, five of which can be made private with  the 6th being more of a public affair. There is also an outside space which features a queen-size double play platform and spa. There is also an area for smokers.

It is a popular club that attracts a nicely mixed crowd of regulars plus new faces and, on a good night, there can be as many as 100 people in the club. Quieter nights, though rare, will see about 40 people.

Couples and single ladies do not need to book but single guys are invited to confirm before attending an event.

Admission fees are as follows:

  • Single Men – $60
  • Single Women – $10
  • Couples – $40

The club is open on Friday and Saturday nights between the hours of 8.00pm and 2.00am as well as for special events such as New Year’s Eve. Friday nights are a mixed event with Saturdays usually being themed such as a gang bang, bi-night or couples only.

Hellfire Club

The Sportsman Hotel, 130 Leichardt Street, Spring Hill, QLD 4000

http://www.hellfireclub.com.au

The Hellfire Club is not a swingers venue but a fetish club in the heart of the CBD. The club meets monthly and have been doing so for more than 23 years to celebrate playful subversion with as many hedonists as Brisbane can knock up.

The crowd is a lively mix of fetishists, perverts, drag queens, TV/TS and sexual deviants which is all good for anyone in the lifestyle who fancies something a little more alternative. They do have a resident BDSM circle along with a small but fully equipped dungeon for some light play.

Swingers can certainly come along and enjoy the opportunity for some networking but there is no nudity or touching here; the pleasure is all in the atmosphere created and the watching.

We’ve included the club here as we think it makes an excellent ‘appetiser’ for any meets being held on the same night and is certainly a great taster for those lifestyle members who like their play to be a little less vanilla.

Details of the monthly meets can be found on the website.

Inner Circle

http://brisbaneinnercircle.com/

The Brisbane Inner Circle is another exclusive private swingers group where members are hand-selected by an elite panel.

Events are described as ‘sophisticated, stylish and chic’ and are held at some classy venues in the city. Meets usually start at an uptown bar where couples can socialise and mingle before the party itself with the action taking place in a private inner-city venue.

Members must be professional, fit and healthy and in their 20s, 30s or early 40s. It is also implicit that you are attractive, outgoing and intelligent.

This is not a club and there are no membership fees just an elite meeting of mutually interested couples and singles who enjoy the lifestyle.

Mike’s Place

Unit 12/6 Maunder St, Slacks Creek QLD 4127

http://mikesplace.net.au/

Covering an internal space of almost 400 sq. m, Mike’s Place is a licensed swingers club and has room for 180 people at their venue in Slacks Creek. An average night usually attracts between 50 and 90 people so it is reasonably popular.

It’s one of the stalwarts of the Brisbane swingers’ scene and has a loyal following of partygoers and the odd new faces. The crowd are fairly mixed in age, shape and size but tends to have more people in their 30s and 40s (and 50s).

The venue itself is clean and well equipped but is looking a bit dated of late. There is a lounge, bar and spa as well as an outdoor area and private play rooms. There is often live entertainment as well as big screen movies being played throughout the venue plus showers, buffet food and complementary tea and coffee.

Admission charges are as follows:

Mike’s Place is open every Friday and Saturday night from 8.00pm to 2.00am. Advance bookings must be made by single males for Friday night events (no single men on Saturdays).

Taboo 22

Unit 5, 6 Cairns St, Loganholme, QLD 4129

It’s a private residence with hosts, Phil and Lindy, offering up some interesting play rooms. As well as a lounge area, manned BYOB bar, 6-person spa and dance floor, there are more than 8 bedrooms to explore, including a BDSM room.

Lube, condoms and finger food are provided (not together).

It’s a friendly club that is attracting a lot of curious swingers and has a good base of locals who attend regularly.

The venue is open on Friday and Saturday nights between 7.30pm and 2.00am.

Other Swingers Clubs

There are a couple of other clubs in the surrounding area of Queensland with the Chateau Vino Swingers Club about an hour north in Molendinar. Club Whispers in Gold Coast is due to reopen again soon so bookmark the website for the latest news.

Orgy Orgy Orgy is not a swinger’s club but does host some sordid group sex parties. Most of these are for gay men but they occasionally run events for bi-guys and girls which might be of interest to the more adventurous of couples.

Lastly, it is not clear if the South East Queensland club, Time to Swing are still operating but this couple in the eastern suburbs of Brisbane used to host parties from their own 3-bed house. They had a great pool and large indoor and outdoor entertaining areas. It is worth requesting a party invite from their website to see if they are still active.

Swingers Resorts, Weekend Breaks and Retreats

If you fancy a bit of a break from Brisbane itself then there are several local, national and international organisations that run retreats and breaks for swingers. We’ve profiled some of the very best in our wider guide to Australia’s best swinging options.

Some are only a short hop away to the Gold Coast but others offer great holidays for lifestylers at some really exotic locations including Asia, Europe and even cruises.

You can find out more by checking out their websites below:

Swingers Websites

Of course, not all swinging has to be a group event and the practice of simple partner swapping is alive and well in Brisbane. For those couples who prefer a more traditional approach to the lifestyle, the internet has made it much easier to find their next play date.

These are the most popular websites for swingers and all have an excellent coverage in Brissy.
